Dr-Harmon

Bailey Harmon, DVM

Dr. Harmon grew up on a hobby farm in southern Indiana. She developed her love of horses after asking for riding lessons for her eighth birthday and eventually discovered three-day eventing, which she competed in through high school and college with her beloved chestnut mare Jenny. After completing her undergraduate degrees at Indiana University, Dr. Harmon spent three years working in hospitality and traveling (during which she visited over 20 countries!). She always knew she would return to horses and given her love of adventure and the outdoors Colorado State University was the obvious choice to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school she served as President of Colorado State University’s Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), was as a member of the AAEP Retention Task Force and received the Colorado State University Equine Surgical Service Award. She is currently a member of the AAEP Student Research and Education Committee. Her interests include general practice, emergency medicine, and sports medicine. In her free time, she loves to travel, hike, cook, and listen to music. Dr. Harmon is thrilled to join the LEMC team!
