Chiropractic is a field that focuses on the musculo-skeletal and nervous system to maintain overall health and wellness. Joints that don’t function properly can lead to pain and inflammation. This can manifest in your horse in many ways including behavioral issues. Chiropractic aims to correct joint immobility which in turn restores improved function and relieves pain.
Our practitioners believe in treating the whole horse, and all integrative medicine appointments are performed with that in mind. Chiropractic treatments are frequently utilized for subtle performance issues, musculoskeletal pathology, or as a part of athletic maintenance.
Every veterinarian who performs chiropractic at LEMC has undergone extensive supplemental training, and has been certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
