Lauren Platt, DVM

Dr. Platt grew up in Olathe, Kansas and developed an interest in horses from a young age spending time riding with her dad, grandmother and cousins.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Colorado State University while also working for Colorado State’s Equine Orthopaedic Research Center. Additionally, she had the opportunity to spend a breeding season working at an equine hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Platt stayed at Colorado State University to complete her DVM degree.

Dr. Platt’s areas of interest include emergency medicine, neonatal care and ambulatory practice.

In her free time she enjoys running, being outdoors, reading and spending time with her husband, friends and family.
