Dr. Scott Toppin, DVM
Born in Metamora, Michigan, Dr. Toppin moved to Colorado in 1994, and joined the practice as an Intern that same year. After the internship, he moved to Arizona and worked at Southwest Equine Hospital for four years. During that time, he developed an interest in internal medicine and emergency surgery. Dr. Toppin returned to Littleton Equine Medical Center in 1999, and has remained at the clinic since that time.
Dr. Toppin grew up with quarter horses that were supposed to race, but instead made really fast 4-H and field hunters. He was a groom for a hunter/jumper trainer during high school and summers during college.
Dr. Toppin is the current Vice President and Secretary of Littleton Equine Medical Center His focuses at are Internal Medicine and Sports Medicine and Emergency Surgery.
In his spare time, you will find Dr. Toppin biking, camping and skiing with his family.

- Diplomate ABVP, first Veterinarian in Colorado to get certified in Equine Practice, in the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (Re-certified 2012)
