Field Service

For the client’s convenience, ambulatory care continues to be an important service offered by our practice.  This service includes preventative care, lameness exams, minor surgeries, and numerous diagnostic procedures.  Radiographs, ultrasounds and shockwave are a few of the many services that can be administered at the barn or boarding facility.  Our veterinarians bring the benefit of their knowledge and experience along with the newest diagnostic and therapeutic tools directly to the patient.

Sport’s Medicine

Lameness evaluations are a large part of our daily practice.  With an extensive history of experience, many of our clinicians travel across the United States and abroad to lecture and exchange ideas on this subject. Lameness evaluation is an art as well as a science, and we have a passion to remain current on new research ideas and diagnostic techniques.

Integrative Medicine

Integrative medicine involves those therapies typically viewed as “alternative”.  At LEqMC this involves acupuncture, chiropractic, and laser therapy. Practitioners at LEqMC who are involved in these therapies strive to integrate each of these with traditional western therapies.  We are constantly striving to find the combination of therapies that is most effective for each case, and as such, find it very beneficial to offer these therapies side by side with traditional treatments tailored to your horse’s unique situation.
